You can get to us using your own car or by train or by plane, hitchhiking or whatever transportation means you like. If you arrive by plane to Porto Airport you can get to the flats by car or using the metro system. After arrival, you can move around easily as the flats are close to everything.

From Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), by shuttle arranged by the apartment, it will take about 20 minutes and will cost , per trip, 30€ on a sedan up to 4 persons or 55€ on a van up to 8 persons. You can otherwise rent a car at the airport.
From Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), by metro, line E Purple to Trindade with departures every 10 minutes. Then, from Trindade to General Torres, line D Yellow with departures every 10 minutes. Finally, from General Torres to the apartments by taxi, UBER or walk (1500 meters down the hill). The journey time is between 40 and 50 minutes.

How to move around
You can just walk to visit the cellars and monuments, as they are right next door. You can also visit downtown Porto on foot, as it is less than half an hour, crossing the D. Luiz bridge. Or you can go by bus and it’s 5 minutes. The apartment is served by public transportation, taxis, UBER and cable car. And you have the General Torres metro station about 800 mt far from the Flats. From there you can go everywhere.
If you want to see the surroundings you can use public transportation, train, UBER or taxi. But it is probably better to rent a car. Near Porto, there are old towns, with castles and all sort of monuments; small ports with fresh fish restaurants; and big beaches to have fun or relax.
