The flats remain both traditional and modern, focused on comfort and hospitality. They are deeply cleaned and disinfected, following the recommendations of the Health Authorities every time the guests leave, and prepared very carefully for the next guests that will arrive.

So, they are, indeed, the right place to start discovering Porto, as they are close to the unique attractions and activities that the city offers. Don’t forget to begin the adventure with a glass of Port!

The apartments are located in Santa Marinha neighborhood, on the left bank of Douro river. They have a privileged location, just in front of Santa Marinha church, one block from the river and the Docks of Gaia, near the Port Wine Cellars and restaurants, shops, cable car, monuments, like the aforesaid church or the Corpus Christi monastery. Dom Luiz bridge, which connects Santa Marinha to downtown Porto (Ribeira) and all the UNESCO Heritage area, is only ten minutes walking from the property.

The atmosphere of the place is quiet and relaxing. But whenever you want, there are plenty of activities nearby.

The Flats

The apartments are arranged on the first and second floors. Two of them are on the first floor and the other two are on the second floor. There is no lift, as they are inside an old restored building.

Santa Marinha

Santa Marinha is an old neighborhood of Gaia, a town on the left bank of Douro river. It belongs to Porto area and it is where the Port Wine cellars are

The flats are just in the middle of Santa Marinha neighborhood, in front of its square and its church. Around, there are the Port Wine cellars and all the services and facilities you’ll need. And some minutes walking is the World Heritage City of Porto.

Santa Marinha is an old neighborhood of Gaia town, on the left bank of Douro river. It belongs to Porto area and it is where the Port Wine Cellars are located. Visit the baroque church of Santa Marinha and then go and drink a glass of Port Wine right next door. Or take the cable car and visit the Monastery of Serra do Pilar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Or take a walk, cross the D. Luiz bridge and stroll in monumental downtown Porto (Ribeira), also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

You can find shops, restaurants, cafes, markets and pharmacies in the vicinity. And even old docks, and dockyards. In fact, walking the narrow streets of Santa Marinha is like going back in time.
